I just purchased this system and need some one to tell me how to put it together. I have never put a first stage on a new tank and I have never seen it done. Do you use Teflon tape or the oring is enough. How much should you tighten it down? Thanks

There is a large washer on the threads of the first stage. Making sure that that washer is in place, just screw it into the tank until it stops. Then take a wrench and tighten it just a tiny bit more to make sure that you cannot unscrew it by hand. Then take it and the fill adapter to your LDS and get it filled. If the tank has no viz sticker, or if you don't feel like doing it yourself, just let your LDS do it for you.
