I have an UWLD that I love for ocean diving, it's a fantastic light. But TBH I don't really like it in caves of wrecks. The pattern is too broad for clear signaling in small spaces and does too good a job of spilling light everywhere.

I didn't even bother bringing it with me on a trip to MX last week. Last trip side-by-side with that and a Flare EXP (the handheld one) and I left the LD in the room for the rest of the trip. I also got to use a Focus for two days (don't fly to the new Tulum airport if there's any chance your bag won't make it with you...) and I didn't like that as much as the Flare either.
 
If you're going to open this to lights which don't change focus then the Dive Rites would need to be in the mix. Mine has a very tight pattern with usable spill.
I have an UWLD arriving soon to compare however.
