I had what I thought to be an unpleasant experience on their charter.

There were a number of concerns. I'll stick to straight forward facts to keep things from getting muddy.

-With 8 divers going on the trip at 9:30 it took 35 minutes to pay at the shop (having arrived at 9:00am)
-The tanks arrived at the boat at 10:20 am... (It was a 9:30 am trip).
-The boat left the dock at 10:40am. There were no exceptional issues.
-Capt spent 40 minutes finding the largest wreck in Marathon (which he never found).
-I entered the water at 12:45 pm.
-Seas were 1-2 feet. Actually a beautiful day all things aside.

Guess in summation, not pleasant, would not recommend.

Bummer. Sorry your experience sucked.

Did they have any explanations? I'd be curious why he couldn't find the wreck. Was the GPS inoperative?

I can't imagine going on a 9:30 trip on not getting in the water until 12:45. I'd love to hear from the Dive Op on this

Sorry your experience in the Keys was bad. Hope future ones are better.

Goo Diving,

I have used Halls. They had a pretty relaxed schedule, but nothing close to your experiance. A member of my party and his wife returned for a trip later and also had no complaints. They are also one of the most economical dive ops in the keys.
