Just received my heavy (5#) STA from Hammerhead Scuba today and it's rather nice. It came "as cut" so there were some sharp edges which would have scratched my tank but after some work with a grinding wheel and a polishing wheel it's much smoother. All in all, very nice product. I'm sure their backplates are of similar quality.
