Hammerheads and Cabilao

Hello,

What are the odds of seeing Hammerheads at Cabilao? Should i base myself out of Mactan or Alona? I am planning a trip to Malapasqua and would like to have a 2nd leg to look for Hammerheads.

To the best of my knowledge the Hammerheads have all but disappeared... You can still read about them in trip reports on the internet or in outdated/not current guide books. Cabilao is a nice quite destination but the biggest things I have seen there are Turtles and a couple of Hump Headed Wrasse...Cheers
