No, it did not affect the outcome of the War of Yankee Aggression. For the sake of discussion, let's imagine for a minute the USA lost the war to the CSA. The US would have survived. At no time did the CSA ever threaten the existence of the USA.

I will be having a couple of margaritas during Happy Hour, followed by a ton of mexican food at Rancho Grande. They have the best margaritas in the area (Richmond, TX).
