"Ever wanted to do a hardhat dive? How about
TWO of them on the same day?..and have a 6" x 4" photo
of you in full hard hat gear to frame and show your
family and friends! You can do it this August 13th or
14th. On behalf of Alabama Blue Water Adventures in
Pelham, AL., I'm proud to offer you this unique and
possibly once in a lifetime opportunity to make one
dive in a modern Superlite 17 helmet, followed by one
dive in a historic Mark V type copper collar helmet
and canvas suit... plus your picture in the "old
school" dress. All dives include surface supplied air,
emergency air and underwater to surface communication.
The dives will be conducted by Mr. Pat Hatley of
Marine Underwater Services. Pat has been a commercial
diver and dive supervisor since 1991. All gear is
industry standard and full surface breifings will be
provided. A saftey diver in open circuit SCUBA will be
available upon request. You must be a certified SCUBA
diver to participate. The cost is $160 per person
including tax AND your entry fee to ABWA(normally
$19.50 w/tax) for the day you dive. There will be 10
divers each day, Saturday and Sunday,for a total of 20
divers(2 dives per diver).A $75 deposit is required to reserve your slot.
Slots will be filled on a first come first serve
basis. Indicate your day and time preference and we
will do our best to accommodate. If your preferred day
and/or time is not available,we will give you the next
closest avaiable slot. The deposit is fully refundable
until July 5th, at which time it becomes
non-refundable. Make your deposits payable to Alabama
