Spent several winters based there on one of the Lindblad Expeditions eco-cruise boats. We went from roughly off Loreto to the Espiritu Santo group and dove mostly the islands offshore. I found the diving interesting there due to the fact that there were no large algae (kelp) and no coral reefs. I had fun piecing together the ecology of the region. And the sea lions at Los Islotes were great to film.
