No responses? Is it even worth diving there?

No, it's not a SCUBA diving highlight of the Mar Caribe- but if that's where your cruise ship is tying up it's got lots of other qualities to offer. Black sand and unspoiled attitude. A beautiful island and tempting place for non (hard core) divers.

There are several sive op/shops in Basse Terre and beside the sanctuary there is the Isl de Sants (forgive my spelling!) as well as a Club Dread.
