Hey Doc,

I dont know if this is a appropriate forum to post my question.

Lately, i'm kinda having some hearing problem. When i'm plugged into my ipod, i noticed that my right ear is kinda muffled and left ear is okay. At first, i thought it was a malfunction of my ear phones, but when i tried it with the left side ear phones, it was the same.

And also when i'm at home listening to music, the volume is just about the level that i can hear adequately. But my parents and sis tell me that it is blasting and very irritating.

So i'm kinda worried about it.

Any inputs here doc?

Darren

See your doctor.

One relatively easy possibility (to do something about) is a wax buildup in your ear. It can be flushed out by a doctor with impressive results.

If that won't resolve the issue, for some reason, better for your doctor to know that also. But if its a relatively recent development, as you imply, and given your age then chances are good that the cause is correctable. Step one is to see your doctor.

Best,

Doc I
