New here and to forums in general, even newer to anything under water beyond snorkelling.
I may never get any further with diving but I'm interested in what's going on here!
I live in the village of Sainte Marie just outside Pornic on the west coast of France, just south of Brittany. It's heavenly. Rocky coves all south facing, beach bars and bustling markets.
The water is sometimes clouded by the outward from the Loire, but otherwise it's jade green and limpid.
Come and see us!

Just bought a new wetsuit, the other was only 3mm job.
But, I'll wait until the sea gets back up to 18°C again before trying it in anger .
They say it should be skin tight but it was much more of a struggle to get into than the other one (which was only a 3/4 length). That's enough sport for one day! (Or week even)!

Salut
i know that you guys on the coast of Atlantic have thick bioprene :) but a dry suit might be a better option to dive where you live :)

Hello and welcome, from a fellow countryman !

Brittany a place I have yet to discover. I dive in the Atlantic myself, but further south, in the Gulf Biscay, off Arcachon.

You told us you were new to diving : beware ! It's addictive ! :p
