Now that I'm laid off/retired it seems that I'll have time to get back into diving. Will have to gradually acquire gear. (More time now but less money)

I think my tanks may be made from the aluminum that is no longer considered safe-was hoping to reuse them at least?

Looking to start in the hot days of summer as this is a time that I don't race my sailboat much. Especially interested in snorkeling with a pony bottle. I tried this in the Delaware Bay but the visibility was too poor. Maybe at a lake would be better.
Low budget trips are a possibility also.
