Any help would be greatly appricated.
I just purchased a Mares Nitrox Surveyor DC. I wanted to get the interface as well. I have tried for about 2 weeks now looking for a place that has them for sale, with no luck. I have been told that there is a back order on these. With looking for a place to purchase this I came across a web site that had the schematic for this particular DC.The site is:

I made the 9 pin interface the way they said and when I connected the DC to the PC the DC would go into dive mode. So I went back to the site and read the troubleshooting section. I found that the voltage (I think) was too low. In turn I added batteries between pin 16 and ground and the DC then went into PC mode as it should but came up with a time out error in downloading. I then assumed that the batteries were insufficient and installed a 4.5V 600 ma. Power supply, I still get a time out error when attempting to download.................HELP
