Can you use the hog 38lb doubles wing for singles by using the STA? I am sure it would taco a bit around the tank but never the less just wanted to know if your able to. And if so any pitfalls, mainly safety issues that may arise.

Thanks

I have a new model on a DSS plate. No STA, and no problems...... looks like a better set-up than my turn-key back-inflate...

edit: oops, sorry, didn't see that this was Hogarthian - I am not there - accept my apology for trespassing.....

No problem I am not sure what you mean about not there but I was just wondering if that wing would work with out any safety issues diving singles instead of doubles when the occasion arose. I am in the process of deciding on what system to go with as far as BPW and I figured this forum would be best to ask about a Hog wing. Thanks for the input.

The HOG singles wings do not require an STA. The wing guides that eliminate the need for an STA. I have used the wings for over a year with everything from steel 72's to lp 95's. I have never had an issue with taco'ing and no issues with stability.
