I just posted in the Edge/Hog forum my experience with the Hog Regulator repair course.

Hog Service Course with Jim Lapenta

This course as taught has some great foundational knowledge for anyone looking to get into regulator repair. It is based off of the Regulator Savvy manual and does a great job of combining theory and praticality. Since they now allow the course for any of their regulators it could be a great investment for the beginner regulator DIY technician.

In addition Jim Lapenta (a frequent poster on Scubaboard) is now teaching the course for the Deep Six regulator course as well.
