Hotel in Avalon?

What are a couple of reasonable hotels in Avalon, that might have some accomodations for Scuba gear? I'm going to be staying by myself, just 2-3 days. Not needing super luxurious, but definitely want to avoid a hotel that's going to make me say "ick."

What are a few hotels in Avalon you'd recommend? This is for mid-May.

I assume there's some reasonable way to get my stuff down either to Casino Pt. or wherever it is boats leave from, if I do a boat dive.

Welcome David.... please check out our "sticky" and on page one has some good ideas for hotels.
My favorite for the non-"ick" factor is Seaport Village....they will also take your gear down to the "park" for you.

If I were to stay in Avalon, I try to get rooms at Seaport Inn.

Another vote for the Seaport Village Inn. Raul will make sure your taken good care of and they will deliver your gear to the point each morning as well as pick you up. You might want to request a front/floor unit so you don't have to haul your gear up and down the elevators. That's to be avoided if possible.

Seaport Village is a good choice for divers.

They have a place for you to store your gear and another place to rinse it.
