Suggestion How do you subscribe to a thread under the new format?

There was a reference to the how to section in a thread heading but I could not find that either.

Hit the "watch thread" button directly below the thread title. You may select email notification or not as well.

After you write your comment look to the bottom right and see POST Reply, upload file? Select More options and you willsee check boxes for watch thread and receive notifications.
