How does this wetsuit combo go on?

Hi,

A friend just gave me a wetsuit. It consists of a 6mm shorty and a 6mm farmer-john. My question is what order should these go on, and does it matter? I tried them on last night with the shorty going over the top of the fj. But it seems like the inverse might work too. I'm looking forward to having 12mm of neoprene between me and the lake (at least on my torso) and would like to test it out this weekend. Any information is appreciated and thanks in advance for it.
