Man just think of seeing a 16ft GW at just under 2 tons.

Shark Name:
Mary Lee

Species: Carcharodon carcharias
Gender: Female
Stage of Life: Mature
Length: 16 ft.
Weight: 3456 lbs.

I figure you're more at danger on the surface, when you look more like the silhouette of another mammalian morsel. Are there instances of scuba divers bitten by sharks? All accounts I could find were of snorkelers and surfers.
In any case, seeing a GW is on my bucket list. I figure Chatham, MA is the place to see them, although beaches are closed when the big fish come around.
