If you're going to split hairs, you should actually split "hairs."

Here's one to split - what is the correct word? "Flammable" isn't it.

correct word, O2 is neither flammable nor inflammable.
we can play the word game ad infinitum, fact is that the O2 is NOT a fuel. As stated by BigJetDriver69 O2 IS a required component in the fire triangle

Epinephelus: it is perfectly ok to state O2 is not (in)flammable, one should just realize that any fuel will burn more fiercly in high O2 environments. ( as BigJetDriver69 already stated)

That would be a shame, as the 'Dr Deco' section contains the most informative subjects - with the most civilized discussion thereof - on the whole board. Let's keep it here. :wink:
