Hi all, i've asked a few questions on a drysuit got, it's a whites polar flex, meaning it's compressed neoprene on bottom, bilam on top. FOr wearing under it i picked up a Diving Concepts TPS stretch extreme as an undergament

Well tonight i tried on the two together for the first time and it is tight!! i can get in, but there is no room in the legs , it's not very tight, but i have little or no extra room in the legs, on top is fine, the ther thing it was is very warm, i mean very, i sweated a lot in it, now i was inside and it's warm here right now. but now i'm a little worried that

a) the suit is too small with the undergarments
b) maybe i'm just wearing too much undergarments?

this is my first drysuit so i'm trying to figure it all out..how loose should a neoprene suit be?

I dive neoprene dry. The suit should be snug with your thermals but not suffocating. Of course this sensation will be relative. Neoprene stretches well and as you descend and add air to your suit it will become more comfortable. A neoprene suit should fit such that there are no large bunches of material but also not so tight that if cuts off blood flow. It will definitly be more comfortable while diving so short of restricted blood flow try her out. The snug suit prevents extra air buildup.

THanks for that, i have to work the drysuit up over the undergarments..but then it's not constrictive or anything...

Hey Matt, what type of undergarment do you use with your neoprene suit?

I have the DUI fleece jumpsuit. I add a fleece jacket for colder temps or deco. I use just the jumpsuit for temps above 55 degrees or so. Below that (which was for all of last season as I recall) I use both layers.

My suit is the O'Neill 7mm full neoprene.
