How to transfer dives from shearwater cloud to Teric?

Hey guys,

I just finished my first ever dive trip. All of my dives are on my teric, and the shearwater cloud desktop app. I am trying to transfer updated dives (I added locations and details, and renumbers the dives) onto my Teric, but can only figure out how to get the dives to transfer the other way around (computer to desktop). How can I take the dives from Shearwater cloud and get them onto my Shearwater Teric?

Not sure why you'd want to anyway, just keep your "next dive number" up to date and you're sweet.

I recently completed my AOW on my dive trip and during the class we spent some time surfacing, talking, going back to 10-15 feet etc. My computer logged each of those as dives so I have about 10 three-minute dives that took up a lot of space on my computer. On my PC it was very easy to just delete those dives and renumber the remaining ones, on the Teric I deleted them but there doesn't seem to be a way to renumber the subsequent dives from my trip so the numbers are all off. Not really a big deal.

You can indeed set the Next Dive # on the Teric. Look it up in the manual for details.

And as Steve said, ofc you can change it. Go to logs then scroll.

FYI if you use something decent you can merge all the little dives into one

When I moved to a dive computer, I simply set my next dive-computer dive number.
And then when my Perdix got replaced, I simply set my next dive number.

Thanks for the responses guys! It looks like I can change my next dive number so I will have several duplicate numbers on my actual Teric, but I can renumber the dives in the cloud app. It would be nice if shearwater allowed us to change the number of the dives on our dive computer but the only option is to delete them. Thanks again!
