Hybrid and Threaded View do not work on some threads

I had started a previous thread titled "Can't read some threads." With some help from Rick Murchison I discovered that the problem is more specific so starting a new thread.

The problem is that I can't read some threads in Hybrid mode (or threaded mode) but can read them in linear mode.

Most threads I can read in any view but some I can not. Anyone have any solution (yea I know someone is thinking use linear mode, I was hoping for a more elegant solution).

I understand the cause. All threads with more than ~3000 replies are timing out in the server when composing the threaded view. Either the server is too loaded/slow or the timeout set too low.
