I accidentally put my dive computer in the washing machine

All kidding aside, the g loads it was exposed to could be damaging to internal components. This is from the Web, so you might want to do your own math then check with the manufacturer of to he computer.

Most computers don't start recording a dive until the depth is at least 3 feet, usually more. Even if it did record a dive it would show a flat profile give that the depth of the computer wouldn't change more than about a foot or two the entire time and there would be no significant ongassing in a 45 minute to one hour wash cycle.

So there won't be anything for the computer to record and all those dumb deco jokes are nothing more than a lame attempt at humor.

Being it didn't see any real pressure I would be concerned about shock a g forces affecting the internal sensors.

Bring a backup on next dive and make sure they are matching.

And remember to log 2 feet for 1 hour in your logbook.
