For me to desire a project, it needs to serve a purpose and in a perfect world generate a profit over what’s invested. That profit, at the very least needs to be time or money.

Not a lawyer, but...
Do you have liability insurance?

Just kidding, not kidding. Some dope out there will screw this up and bend himself righteously and come after you.

Aside from that 👍
That dope would have to come from inside Canada and/or be willing to travel to Winnipeg (said nobody ever) to file the lawsuit.

What purpose does this post have in this thread? You invested time in writing it. How much profit did you gain from it?

Well, 1. This isn’t a project. But 2. As I own one of the largest dive shops in the state, this is marketing. So…. There is that.

What you've done is pretty cool. It is fun to play around with. I've compared a few profiles to other planning apps with 100:100 gradient factors and the profiles come out pretty similar.
I like being able to build a profile myself.

Once you have gradient factors and the ability to modify the plan you'll have a usable program here.

If you want an idea to add to your roadmap. I think it'd handy to be able to upload your dive profile from your computer, then plan repetitive dives based on your actual nitrogen loading rather then the theoretical square profile from the first plan. I'm not aware of any dive planning software that can do this yet.

That's a cool idea! I did have an item in my roadmap to be able to import a dive from a computer or dive log and then render out the same graphs I have based on the imported dive profile. I could pretty easily use that as the basis for repetitive dive planning once I have the import/upload working.

To not reinvent the wheel: This could be very helpfull:
