Definitely a tough call but I would dive it.

My desire to use it would outweigh the value of keeping it pristine.

I don’t “collect” things (accumulate yes, collect no) so if it were pristine new like I would try to put it into the hands of a collector, it won’t perform any better than one dented and chrome les.

I have been looking for CE version B/A for years, and only seen a few for sale, always in new or collectable condition. For reasons mentioned by lexvil. I would much prefer one already showing use but since they are so scarce a new one that fell into my hands would get used.
