Ice Diving - Tips?

Ice dice was amazing!
It took us 3.5 hours do to the hole the ice was so tick. In the end it was a great awesome experience. I will definitely do it again next winter.

Since I was a student, I was not allowed to take my GoPro under the water and my instructor wanted me to focus on my skills and rope signals. So no photos unfortunately. Also the viz was only 5' for some reasons.

The coolest moment was the "ski" ride back.
We went upside down feet on the ice and signaled for a emergency pull back to the hole. You just stand there and "ski" back to the hole.

Certainly was a lot of fun. Next year as a non student, I'm bringing my hockey stick and a puck.

I can't wait to see the face of the DM in Greece this summer when I drop my ice card on his front counter!

Doing some of the crazy stuff is great just for the bragging rights, let alone the experience!

maire13 crazy is a relative factor , I think going to work in windowless cubical every day is crazy ....lol...but as an old dive buddy used to say " even the worst day diving , is better than the best day at Chrysler " gotta say he was right
