Just a note to all Manitoba Divers The ICE is gone off West Hawk Lake!
So lets get out there and Dive while the Vis is at its best. Also Manitoba Parks are FREE entery for 2009 & 2010. DM

Why is that? Just a for-fun-thing or is there some anniversary promotion going on?

I think attendance has been poor in Manitoba Provencial Parks the last few years Weather and upgrading constuction so I guess if they drop the $25. year entery fee and the $5 daily enterance fee they think people will get out more often.
Also just an update arrived friday cool but nice,07:30 Saturday 1.5 inch snow on trailer warmed up to 20c by noon dive was great vis 25-30ft. Surface temp 41f, 33f at 40ft.depth.
