I would much rather put up with something we can play in instead of those big blows you folks get. :D

You can't have ice diving in Florida. The hole needs to stay in one place so you can get out. You can't have a big wind come by and move it somewhere else. :D

We can actually be warmer under the ice than diving in tropical waters.

One of the biggest problems under the ice is overheating. I've never had that problem in the tropics. :D

Cold water in a wetsuit is just a bad memory for me now. Diving Dry is the ONLY way to go!! But if you like it more power to ya Octgal :D
 
we'll see how it goes, i may go dry for the simple fact that i have no warm place to strip in the middle of a lake
