icon net ready on two tanks

I know that the icon can deal with 3 gases, but I'm a little confused with the manual regarding two tanks, i.e. sidemounting.
How do you set it up and switch so it reads from tank to tank during the dive? Do you just set 2 gases and switch back and forth? or...?
