Yesterday, during the first 5 minutes of our first dive, the Mares ICON HD logged a complete mess. We were slowly descending to the wreck 11 m deep, with full tank 210 bar, water temperature about 20°C. The Mares logged only about 20 seconds of the dive, then (while still descending), it logged as being back on surface, freezing water at 0 °C, tank pressure drop to 160 bar. This lasted about 5 minutes, then it started to work just fine and the rest of the dive is was logged with no problems. I am pretty sure I was checking the screen of the computer quite often during the descent and all the readouts were pretty consistent. However the data stored in the logbook (on Mares screen as well as later downloaded to the PC) show something else.
