IDI and previous topside welding experience

Good evening, I am looking into enrolling in the dive and underwater welding courses at international diving institute and am curious of the opinions about this school. I am a Marine who is very interested in getting into this career and have looked into alot of it but I am very skeptical and I try to be as thorough when i have to fork out this kind of money and am trying to get all the info i can before i commit to it. I have no civilian dive experience and no previous experience in welding. thank you for any help
