Hi,
I just bought a brand new Ikelite AF35, and as soon as I turn it on, there's a high pitch sound that never stops. At least with normal flashes, I would expect it to sound while it was charging, but then once the flash is ready it should stop the sound until the flash is actually triggered, and then it will sound again when it is recharging.
Is this normal for underwater strobes?? I can see it being very annoying having that high pitch sound for an hour dive.
