Interesting article on bringing back the Goliath Grouper fishery in the Gulf:

"State and federal scientists met Monday in St. Pete to see if there was a way to begin harvesting goliath grouper for scientific purposes, without compromising the fishery's recovery.

Goliaths, the largest of all groupers, have been fully protected since 1990, after overfishing whacked 80 percent of the total population."
