Hope someone can help (tried the Sea&Sea forum but had no answer).

I've just ordered my Canon 600d and am about to order the Sea & Sea RDX-600D housing with flat port. The Camera comes with the standard 18-55mm IS lense. Do I need to order a zoom gear for this set up as well?

Anyone got some sample photos taken with this setup? All I've seen so far are macro shots with the 60mm lense or WA with the Tokina (I'll have to save up for these!!).

Thank you for some feedback :D

Hi,
for the said set up, it is suggested to use a zoom gear, if not you are always on one lens position, 18 or 55mm or somewhere in between. The advantage of a zoom lens is gone.
Best regards
Bernhard

Echoing sibulan1 a zoom gear is HIGHLY recommended. With 18-55 it is nice that you can switch between macro and WA during a dive if you have the zoom gear.
