Posting here out of interest as well. I took a tour of a dive school near me, but I already have a STEM degree. I really wish there were more scientific diving jobs out there!

Pathfinder90 STEM degree? Do tell?
What about jobs in designing, innovating dive equipment? My kids are Robotics and aerospace majors. They like to build things. You could consider engineering Underwater robots, improved life saving devices, CCR safety features, so much else. Wow, if you invent something cool, you could be set for life!
