Had a couple nice days out of Islamorada. Dove With Sea Monkeys. Great little op with a nice 6-pack boat and very personal service. They put a DM on every dive (which I appreciate as a vacation diver) and even through in a wet suite with the basic 2 dive price which was cheaper than anyone else around. I give them 2 thumbs down (which is my highest rating)

Did 2 tanks on "The Aquarium". Strong east wind gave us a 2-3 foot chop heading out. Water temp was 73 and pretty good vis for the conditions 40+feet I'd say. Shallow reefs in good shape. Lots of big green morays and a small turtle.

But the hilite was day 2 on Alligator Reef. Strong south wind put heavy chop over the reef. Real bouncy going out. Water temp 73 and vis down a bit but still pretty good for the conditions, 30+ feet. What a nice reef with ots fish, huge barracudas and parrot fish, 3 green turtles, green and spotted morays, lots of juvenile drums.
