Maybe it's a myth (the Pershing bit) but it is still the only proven tactic against this terrorist demographic. Basically Osama wants to be the new 'Old Man of the Mountain' that the Mongols finally destroyed. No one else was able to get rid of them for centuries before.

No disrespect taken however, some news agencies decide not to print/broadcast the full story to the masses. There is alot not being reported what the services have done(for example; do you know how many schools, houses or, hospitals have been rebuilt in Iraq?) that is being kept from the public, to suit thier(news agnecy's) agenda.
