Hi! Can anyone tell me the current visibility conditions at Porteau Cove?

Thank you.

Vic

Sunday morning around 9am below 25ft. the vis was quite good. We could readily see the sail boat in it's entirety and see the entire tug from the sail boat. By 11:30 the flood was underway and vis had dropped substantially, we couldn't even see the sail boat from the fire hose, and got within a few feet of the tug before realizing exactly where we were.

1 st dive at 10 30 AM was great...good viz 15 feet maybe,,,2nd dive at 1 15 PM got a little milky when the Thermocline hit good because of the tides. Good viz on the bottom,,,but HEY that's where everything is anyway
Saw an awesome BIG Nudibranch...on the sea grass
Good Luck and Good diving

Thursday Canada Day at Porteau Cove was pretty good below 20 feet,,,the odd patch of wavvy bits , fresh and salt meeting, but for the most part it was good
There was a Gigantic Lions Mane Jelly there eating his fill of Moon Jellies of which there were thousands at one point.

Hey, we were at Porteau Cove yesterday between 8:00-11:00AM. Where you the 3-person group we saw at Granthall?

What type of camera do you have? By the way, nice drysuits. We were commenting on them.
