This guy was at about 50' in a rocky area. I was suprised to find him that shallow.

Awesome! Where did you go diving? I'm leaving for Kauai in 4 days and I've schedule one day of diving. I'm going with my family and they don't dive, so I can't keep ditching them.

EDIT: Just came across your other posts about your trip. Now I'm really excited. I was contemplating using Bubbles Below, but the hotel I'm staying at recommended Mana Divers. I hope I get to see everything you did.

I've got about 200 more pictures. I did two days of diving with bubbles below.

Beautiful!

Excellent pic.
Consider yourself very lucky in seeing a dragon Moray. I have been diving on Maui for 11 years and have yet to see one.

I was very surprised by his willing to entertain me. I saw him poke his head out and I slowly came to a stop and approached slowly to let my presence be felt. Then snapped about 4 pictures. Not once did he go back into his hole. I figure once I tried to approach him, he would pull back into his hole.

The dive site was 'School House Rock.' This dive spot was well known for big schools of fish. The dive site had a crescent shape to it and we started at the west end and made our way east. The west end is sometimes populated with local shore fisherman. Dragon Moray was located at the east end of the crescent shape at about 50' ft deep.
