I think a large trainer should do it... LARGE, though because these kiveyaks are slugs.Idigguns once bubbled... SNIP...You probably need to rig the lines through a carribeaner or shackle or something on the bow to keep the kayak tracking straight through the water...SNIP
Rather than a sea anchor I'd consider increasing the skag sizes somehow so we can get a good purchase for the tack. I see this as the major problem - skidding across the surface when the wind is north or south and we're trying to head east or west. I know the kite compensates somewhat but the pull is going to be significant to one side or the other, and can't see a sea anchor working at all.
Maybe I'll give my instructor a call to see how he's booked for this weekend. I can pay him to get on board and give it a try with whatever he thinks might work, and go from there.
