I apolgize if this one has been asked before, but any recommendations for dive shops in Key Largo? We are going to be passing through on our way to Key West in September and thought a reef or reef/wreck dive along the way might be fun.

Thanks!

I dove with Horizon Divers and I would definitely go back with them. I am sure there are many other great shops. I guess the key is to week out the no-so-good shops.

If you're looking for an excellent 6 pac boat, you can't beat Quiescence Dive Center. You might also want to go with Paradise Divers. They put a DM in the water for every dive. Have fun.

Great service and only $50/trip. 40 knot six-pack boat w/ 4-stroke (no smoke) outboards.

My recommendation is:

Silent World Divers. http://www.silentworldkeylargo.com/

JusSilent World Dive Center is located at MileMarker 103.2 bayside, in Key Largo's Central Plaza. For reservations or further information, call at 800-966-DIVE (3483) or 305-451-3252; write at P.O. Box 2363, Key Largo FL 33037, or email at Silent World.

Just spent 4 days diving with them. --MNStarfish
