I know this may sound stupid, but it occured to me today that all the talk of weight on this board is in lbs, however I'm pritty sure my weigths are marked in kilos. I live in Canada so they could be marked either way. I live in a Uni. rez so I don't have a scale to check on. So my question is, are most North American weights marked in Lbs or Kilos? (they are sea pearl weights)

I live in Canada too (east coast), any time I've seen lead in shops or around it was always in pounds - borrow a scale if not sure?

They're probably marked in pounds. A kilogram is 2.2 pounds.

If you have a bag of frozen peas, potatoes, cat litter or anything with a mass written on it, hold it and compare it to your weights.
