Kindle 2

My mom's b-day is on the 29th (she'll be 51).

She's an avid reader and I thought of getting her a Kindle 2 for her b-day...

does anyone have one of these? or has anyone played with one?

I just bought my wife one for Mothers day and she really likes it. It takes about 30 sec to download a book. I would recommend getting the case for it though.

I am late to chime in, but yeah, I have one and love it. It works very, very well for what it is intended for. Once my wife tried mine, she ordered one right away. It is a great device for someone who likes to read alot.
