I have searched this forum and the manuals... What flash setting do I need to have the Oly 5050 at so that the TTL/ROC will work? Is it?

-internal + external
-external
-slave

I use the settings on http://www.splashdowndivers.com/photo_gallery/underwater_photography/up_settings.htm for my camera but I think I am using the strobe in manual mode and not TTL. I also saw something on the L&M site that you should turn off your infrared autofocus help, is that true? and how do I do this? Any other tips on using the Tetra?

Thanks! :D

The Tetra ROC simply mimics the pre-flash and main flash of the C5050. Peter's settings are mainly for manual strobe or Ikelite's TTL stobe settings, which is different from ROC.

For Tetra ROC, set the C5050's flash menu (Mode Menu > Camera > Flash) to Int + Ext and the flash mode (top-left button on the camera) to 'Fill-in' ( :lightning symbol ). You will need to program ROC for the strobe you are using.

The Tetra housing is aluminium so the infrared auto-focus assist lamp will have no effect at all. To turn it off go Mode Menu > Setup > AF Illuminator > Off.

Thanks ReyeR!
I thought that I was conserving battery power by only doing external flash but figured I might not be getting the advantage of the ROC system.
