Last Minute Plans

Sorry for the last minute heads up, but people have bailed on me going to Stillwater Campground (Sonoma Coast) this coming weekend. I have room for a few more tents if anyone is interested in joining me. I Scuba dive, some poeple freedive, and some don't dive at all. Let me know if you are interested and I will give you more details. If you haven't already made plans and you have always wanted to dive Gerstle Cove, this is your chance.

Disclaimer: I am not a dive master, so dive at your own risk. Everyone is on their own when it comes to diving, but I do know some of the dive sites well. I could use a dive buddy as well, mine bailed on me

I'd love to come up and dive with you for a day but I won't be able to camp because I have a sick teen at home. I'd love to meet some more of the North Coast divers too. Which day would be best for you?

I'd normally be up for it but I'll be away this weekend for the second week in a row.

Maybe next time. I plan 6-8 trips there every spring/summer. Have fun whatever you are doing and be safe!

That would be great. I would think that either Sunday or Monday would work. I am not ever sure who is going to show up until I get there. We usually have a potluck on Saturday night, everyone brings a dish if you can stay for dinner. I am at my usualy site #20 at Stillwater Campground.

Ok, I'll plan on being there Sun around 9:00. I can stop by the campground on the way by and check if you're still there. If not, will you be at Gerstle Cove?

Yes. I will check the conditions on Saturday morning. If the wind picks up early on Saturday, then I will try to get an earlier start on Sunday. I drive a Black Jeep Wrangler (with a dive flag wheel cover) you will see me in the parking lot at Gerstle Cove. If the wind doesn't pick up early, then I usually take my time in the morning, so 9:00 would be perfect. I make a mean cup of coffee if you happen to get there earlier!
