Ok, season is heating up for me for shore diving. I have been fortunate enough to have gone shore diving 6 different days this month. Just came back from Lauderdale by the Sea this past weekend. Awesome couple dives. Saw three different eels, 2 on one video clip, a nurse shark with large remora, and an angel shark pup! Great looking lizard fish and trumpet fish too. The nurse shark was the largest I have seen in person probably about 10-12 feet. I even got to see a reef squid up close.
Still playing with the new camera, only the fourth time I have used it so far. Love to look back and reflect on what I saw. It was a little "green" in the water. Lots of small harmless under 3" jellies floating around on second reef but we didn't see them on the first.
The coral is looking good. The mild winter seems to have helped the coral growth. Saw a fabulous variety and looking forward to going back soon.
Check out my post on my blog at Danielle's Dives for about 80 pictures and some video clips.
