hello - on a recent trip to coz (with my new zeagle bc - which i love), i experienced on, several occasions, (before entering the water) the tank slipping thru the bands; almost like the straps weren't long enough (we were using 120 cu.ft.steels); i have loaned my bc to a friend so i don't have it here now; but i have a question - how long are the tank straps on the deluxe tech express excluding buckle? if i wanted, i suppose i can replace them with straps that are a few inches longer but i was just curious as to the exact length of the straps supplied with the bc; thanks

The standard tank straps are the correct length to use with either a single 7.25 or 8" diameter tank.
I suspect that someone may have mis rigged the webbing going through your tank buckles.
The bottom side of the buckles have 1,2, and 3 stamped into them to help with the routing of the strap.
If you do not get the webbing soaking wet before you clamp onto the tank the strap may get loose.
