Hello folks,

I recently received my much-awaited Dive Housing for the GoPro. After a test snorkeling mission, I noticed a slight ring in some of my shots. Looks like it is the reflection of the camera lens onto the flat lens of the Dive Housing. Any suggestions for how to avoid having this ring in my shots?

If you are using the original Hero HD (not the HD2) the white ring is the barrel of the lens and is easily eliminated using a black marker on the exposed plastic.

Thanks flareside, but I am using the Hero2. Sorry, should have mentioned that.

Flareside, it's not that obvious in the pictures, but definitely in video. As for cjfox... that might be the answer. I have the inserts, just haven't used them yet. I will give them a try though. Thanks guys!
