Let Me Introduce You to.........

.............the last of my children to certify (five out of five!).

Caitlyn Jackson, age 10, our caboose, is the newest member of the dive community.

She certified with a great PADI instructor, Mari Kagaya, a lovely Japanese women in Utila this past week. She did great and with Mari's patience, kindness ad one-on-one attention, the certifing process went very smooth.

It was a lot of fun to see Cait's excitement of seeing the beauty of the Utilian reefs and walls.

Thank you to Mari, Tex and all the gang at Gunter's Dive Shop.

.........for all your kind words. We are very excited for her accomplishment.

I would suggest you encourge but not push your children too hard. My third child waited until she was 18. She is now finally starting to really enjoy diving two years later.

Cait told me two months ago she felt she was missing out by not diving, only then we started considering the possibility of certifying her before age twelve. A great instructor like Mari helped make it all come together and Caitlyn be successful.
